Pete Doherty, Billy Bragg and The Kooks are among a group of artists who are to 'perform' a new recording of John Cage's '4'33"' on Monday.
The track, four minutes and 33 seconds of silence, is part of a Facebook campaign to get the track to the Christmas number one spot.
Similar to last year's victory for Rage Against The Machine against The X Factor's Joe McElderry, the silent piece is part of a new campaign titled 'Cage Against The Machine'.
According to NME, other artists will include Big Pink, Enter Shikari and UNKLE.
The track will be released as a download on December 13, in order to challenge for the number one spot.
Other Facebook campaigns aiming for the same prize include The Trashmen's 'Surfin' Bird' and the latest song from Steve Brookstein.
