Image Comics is to publish two books collecting the work of artist Rian Hughes.
Slated for release next month, Yesterday's Tomorrows and On The Line compile the illustrator's best known strips from throughout his career.
"Yesterday's Tomorrows is a collection of my comic strips from back when I last drew comic strips," he told CBR.
"The title refers to the retro-nostalgia of characters like Dan Dare, the future of a simpler age, one of the themes that's explored in that story. But it also refers to the fact that these are my personal yesterdays as well."
The book includes Hughes's collaborations with Grant Morrison, Tom DeHaven and other acclaimed creators. It also features some of his designs for trading cards, posters and advertisements.
On The Line reprints the entire run of Hughes and writer Rick Wright's mid-'90s strip, which was serialised in The Guardian.
Yesterday's Tomorrows and On The Line arrive in stores on December 22.
