he is dead, the indigenous rapper, Dagrin’s seems to have left a never-say-die spirit. He has continued to get awards and nominations on various platforms. He has also been nominated at the Gbedu Awards which is set to make a comeback. At apress parley held recently, the organisers of the awards, Labour Entertainment unveiled the nominees for the 2010 edition.
It’s a hot race as Terry G, P Square, Da Grin, 9ice and Timaya will slug it in the Album of The Year category.


Also, 2face Idibia makes a comeback in the Artiste of The Year category where he will lock horns with Wande Coal, Terry G, Da Grin and Timaya.
Song of The Year has 9ice, 2face, Wande Coal, P Square and Da Grin battling for glory. The Best Musical Video Award has KSB, Kefee, Solid Star and 2face vying for honours.
For Best Vocalist of The Year, Omawunmi, Lara George, Essence and Mumagee will compete, while Kefee, KSB, Essence, Lara George and Rooftop MCs will slug it out for Best Gospel Act of The Year.
Other categories include Best Afrobeat Act, Best Highlife Act, Best Rap Artiste, Best R&B Act, Best Reggae/ Dancehall act to mention a few.
According to the organizers, the process of nomination was carried out by industry professionals including Disc Jokeys, radio/TV presenters and professional music critics among others.
