Chandra Wilson has clarified details of the upcoming musical episode of Grey's Anatomy.
Wilson, who stars in the show as Bailey, toldPeople that the show will be paying tribute to songs it has previously featured.
"Everyone keeps calling this a 'musical episode', but really it's about the music of Grey's Anatomy," she said.
"We're basically taking iconic songs from the show, songs that everyone knows or has heard, and we're going to bring them to life through the characters on the show... We're still going to do aGrey's show. But instead, the music will be essential to what's happening."
Wilson also admitted that she is hoping for one song in particular to be included, saying: "Wouldn't it be cool to hear everyone sing 'Chasing Cars'? Wouldn't that be kind of cool?"
Grey's Anatomy continues on Thursdays at 9/8c on ABC.
