Firstly at 7.30pm, 12.37m (46.1%) watched Molly shatter Tyrone at 7.30pm, then the massive disaster pulled in 13.74m (48.1%) an hour later. 

Meanwhile, more Stacey and Ryan romance in EastEnders took 8.57m (30.8%) at 8pm, dented slightly by the historic airing of Corrie's first ever episode at 8pm, which appealed to 6.76m (23.3%).

Later on the multichannels, EastEnders catchup logged 1.1m (5.1%) at 10pm, pipping the hour-long Coronation Street: Uncovered which managed 1.04m (5.2%) for ITV2 at 10pm, after which two Weatherfield repeats picked up 527k (4.6%) and 527k (6.2%).

Elsewhere in soapland, Emmerdale attracted 8.2m (34.4%) to ITV1 at 7pm, while 1.74m (20.8%) tuned in for BBC One's Doctors at 1.45pm.

The latest Warren developments in Hollyoaks were seen by 1.33m (5.8%) on Channel 4 at 6.30pm, after which E4's first look fetched 507k (2.1%).

Channel 5's Neighbours notched up 767k (9.1%) at lunchtime, before 1.45m (8.3%) watched at 5.30pm. Home and Away nabbed 366k (4.6%) at 2.15pm, 838k (4%) at 6pm, and 502k (4.2%) at 6.30pm for Fiver's first look.
