Gospel/Kennis Music recording artiste, Kenny Saint Brown was the winner of the “Best Gospel Video” at the 2010 Nigerian Music Video Awards held at Expo Hall of Eko Hotels on sunday, December 28, 2010. The award was presented by big, bold and beautiful Adaora Ukoh and Tinsel star, Victor Olaotan.
KSB as she is fondly called was definitely ecstatic, who wouldnt be? But she definitely began to go out of line. After thanking so many people that have helped her during her sojourn in the industry, she went ahead to say “Dem say i no fit sing. Well, Kirk Franklin cannot sing or rap but has since remained relevant”.
I must say i was dazed on my seat. Coming from a Gospel artiste, i wonder if that should be taken as a courtesy remark or some consolation to herself that afterall, if Kirk Franklin who she believes cannot sing and can be successful, why cant she?
