IFP's 20th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards - ArrivalsWinona Ryder is not what you would call a big fan of the Internet. In fact, the 39-year-old actress says she doesn't even use it.

"I don’t use the Internet, but apparently you can find out everything on it,” says Ryder in the January issue of Ellemagazine. "I have my e-mail on my BlackBerry, and that’s about it. I’ve never read a blog, ever."

She even recently recieved an iPad from director Ron Howard, but she's never used. Nor does she enjoy watching movie trailers online. "I feel like it’s taking away that great anticipation of seeing a movie. It used to be you’d hear, like, Al Pacino was making a movie, and you wouldn’t know anything about it. And nowadays, you know it all, like how much [the actors] are being paid. I would hate to see a picture of me and the caption reads, ‘Is she worth it?’”

As her beauty fades, perhaps the glare of the spotlight will, too.

That's the not-unwelcome future that Angelina Jolie sees for herself, as she considers her hectic life as one of the most hounded women on the planet. The Oscar winner, 35, says she doesn't really understand all the attention she gets, but she knows she's not alone among celebrities.

"I don't find myself that interesting in that way," she said Tuesday on NBC'sToday show. "But I feel like it happens to everybody. It's just that it's a weird time right now. There's just so much of all of that, for everybody. It's just, it's a new world."

But she has an out. Eventually her youth will desert her – and with it, perhaps, the cameras. "I just assume the older I get, the more it'll go away," she says. "The more private I'll become."

Jolie also returned to a favorite topic of recent days – her fondness for Johnny Depp, her costar in The Tourist. "He's as lovely and as interesting as you could hope for," she says.

And she chats about her six kids with partner Brad Pitt – in particular, how she imagines they will feel several decades from now, looking back on their childhoods.

"Hopefully they are happy, and they know that they were loved, and that they were encouraged to be who they are, and not pushed into something that they're not," she says.

"Hopefully they'll be the strong, beautiful individuals that they are today, and be happy in their lives, be fulfilled in their lives, and be living their lives honestly.

Are you ready to party like a sparkly lumberjack? J.Crew goes to high-low extremes in its Holiday 2010 catalog. Gayle Stannaus, lead women's stylist for the recently sold company, gave StyleList a behind-the-scenes look at the mailing, which arrives in homes Dec. 4.

StyleList also discovers the brand's best special-occasion clothes -- and who J.Crew President Jenna Lyons wishes would crash the company holiday party!

The key looks in the catalog pair sequined tanks, metallic shoes and crystal jewelry with plaid shirts, long sweaters and what Stannaus calls "tomboy, slouchy, around-the-fire wear." They're all in a bid for comfort, chic and originality.

As in years past, the December catalog sidesteps traditional holiday icons, using bright red as a visual detail throughout the pages.

Rather than Christmas stockings and candy canes, the creative team played with crimson industrial and athletic props, from a fan to a hockey stick.

"We just have fun, everybody throwing down on the table their ideas of red items and getting creative," Stannaus told StyleList. "We went all over the place with the red props."

Other red threads included scarlet lipstick, cashmere and plenty of buffalo plaid.

This oversized black-and-red check "is one of those things that always cues holiday in some way," Stannaus believes. "It feels cozy but then you layer on a sequined pant with thebuffalo-check shirt. It's got a lot of dimension. There's nothing wrong with a little black dress, but we want to give other ideas as well."

Among those ideas? "Sparkly femme lumberjacks!" cheers Stannaus.

"I love sportif," she adds. "I think everybody does and combined with the sparkling (items), it's what we love. It's the Saturday day mixed with the Saturday night."

Other women's pages focus on luxurious textures and softer colors. The section on sweaters mellows out with makeup-influenced tones and dusty pinks.

"There's an elevated but not exclusionary feel to it," notes Stannaus. "It's all about texture: leather, satin, fuzzy cashmere."

"The last and final story is the palate cleanser," she explains. "It's the nod to the classics, the camels, denim, olive, heather gray."

In those classics pages, you'll see the debut of J.Crew's latest partnership: Lulu Frostjewelry. Six vintage-inspired bracelets kick off the exclusive collaboration. Each shimmers with antiqued glass crystals and gold-plated chains.

A spread devoted to ballet flats highlights some new designs, too. Responding to customer feedback, J.Crew's designers added a cushioned insole as well as a slight interior wedge, so that you get a bit of a boost. A rubber sole and an elasticized top edge give better fit and durability.

Some of Stannaus' favorite dress-up clothes are in these pages as well. She points to anolive lace button-down shirt as a perfect piece to wear from work to a party.

Another go-to item is a floor-length washed-silk-crepe skirt. Stannaus loves it with a thick-knit marled sweater but she also sees it with a tank, a button-down or a fitted sweater. "It's transitional; you can wear it right into summer," she promises.

More new party contenders include a confetti-like sequined fringed miniskirt and platform heels with a sexy satin ankle tie.

Stannaus points to a special pair of shoes or booties as the way to pull an outfit together. "That, with a pair of jeans and the Ludlow blazer and a crisp blue shirt, is the most elegant way to dress day-to-night."

That's right; women now have their own version of the popular men's Ludlow blazer. For the holidays, it shows up as a satin-lapel tuxedo jacket.

Perhaps company president Lyons will rock this look at the company holiday party? If she gets her wish, Christina Ricci will make a surprise appearance.

It's a new Ann Taylor -- and she has new digs to show for it.

The brand, which relaunched just over a year ago, is now rolling out redesigned stores, with the revamped brand and customer in mind.

"We worked with architect S. Russell Groves to reexamine the store experience," a spokesman told StyleList. "There's a romantic row of mannequins when you walk in the store on a runway showing our fashion point-of-view." In addition, "there are special demarked areas for petites, dresses, suits, cashmere and accessories. You get a sense of discovery when you shop in this store," the spokesman added. "It's a better, more fun place to shop."

There are currently new concept stores in Atlanta, Miami and Seattle, and the newest one is at 149 Fifth Ave. at 21st Street in New York's Flatiron District. This location and the brand's sponsorship of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Design Challenge was celebrated Thursday evening with a cocktail party.

For the Design Challenge, the competition's 10 finalists were asked to design relevant wear-to-work outfits for today's modern woman, in turn setting the next major career style trend. The finalists, Joseph Altuzarra, Billy Reid, Christian Cota, Eddie Borgo, Gregory Parkinson, Oliver Helden and Paul Marlow of Loden Dager, Moss Lipow, Pamela Love, Prabal Gurung and Robert Geller, submitted looks that incorporated trench coats, Ann Taylor's signature leopard print and much more. Many of these looks were on display at the party.

"We wanted to elevate the fashion credibility of the brand and support young talent" with the sponsorship, the spokesman said. The submitted outfits were so impressive that "now we're working on an auction to be held in January to help raise money for the fund."

Julianna Margulies Wants to Feel Sexy for Her HusbandDon't call Julianna Margulies a good wife.

The actress, who plays long-suffering political wife Alicia Florrick on CBS's The Good Wife, says she finds depicting the staid character a stretch.

"It's a challenge because she's so far from who I am," Margulies, 44, says in the January issue ofHarper's Bazaar, on sale Dec. 21. "I'm not saying I'm a crazy sexual person, but she's such a repressed Wasp."

In her own marriage, Margules says, feeling "sexy" is vital. When asked what makes her feel sexy, the answer is her husband, lawyer Keith Lieberthal, whomshe wed in 2007.

"I feel sexy when I'm happy," Margulies says. "If I'm going out on a date with my husband, I want to feel sexy. I want him to see me that way. So I think you have to make an effort. When you're in love, you feel sexy."

The actress, 44, posed for a racy "bad wife" photo shoot for the magazine and submitted to the cheeky questioning of her Scottish cast mate Alan Cumming, who writes that the duo has "a ball doing scenes together."

Margulies also says her resistance to marriage in the past was probably due to fear.

"It's not that I didn't want to get married as much as I didn't feel like I was the marrying type," Margulies says. "I saw myself as someone who would always have a partner, but I never liked the feeling of what marriage said. Looking back, I think I was just mostly scared of it. Strangely, when the time was right, it all seemed to make sense."

She shares with Cumming, too, that no matter how much success she finds, being a mom to son Kieran, almost 3, isn't easy.

“It's tricky being a working mom," she says. "You feel guilt all the way around. You want to be there for your husband, be there for your kids, be great at your job, all that stuff. But at the end of the day, if you put everyone in front of you, what happens to you?”

Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum Win Big at New Country AwardsThe "Year of the Lady" continued in country music with Carrie Underwood and Lady Antebellum cleaning up in Las Vegas Monday at the first-ever American Country Awards.

Like she did at the Academy of Country Music Awards in April, Underwood took home the biggest award of the night, claiming Artist of the Year, as well as Album of the Year, Female Single of the Year, Touring Headline Package of the Year and Female Music Video of the Year. Crossover stars Lady Antebellum, meanwhile, took home Group of the Year honors, as well as Group Video of the Year, Group Single of the Year.

"Don't be surprised if we don't show up next year, because we want to go out on top," Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott joked after the show.

The awards show was based solely on fan voting – something old hat for Underwood, 27, considering her rise to stardom on American Idol. "My whole career has been fan voted, pretty much," she said.

Other artists embraced the concept.

"I railed for years, when I had the energy, against the machine. You got 1,500 people voting and they all have agendas," said Toby Keith, 49, winner of the Video Visionary of the Year Award. "If you've had the biggest year, ticket sales, album sales, radio play and you get shut out at award shows because of agenda stuff, then the fans are like, we don't understand and it takes credibility away from the organization."

In a clear attempt to become a vibrant awards show, performers included several up-and-comers – Easton Corbin, Josh Turner, and Steel Magnolia – and winners were given Fender guitars as awards.

Blake Shelton took home two awards for his Hillbilly Bone video. Other winners included Corbin (Breakthrough Artist of the Year), Turner (Male Single of the Year), Alan Jackson (Greatest Hits Award) and Rascal Flatts (Decade Award).

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz's Son Doubling Up on Holiday GiftsKids born around the holidays sometimes feel short-changed in the gift department. But it sounds like Bronx Mowgli Wentz doesn't need to worry.

The son of Pete Wentz andAshlee Simpson-Wentz turned 2 on Nov. 20, but Ashlee says he'll still have a nice Christmas – though they'll have to branch out in terms of presents.

"He just had his birthday, and he got a lot of gifts," the pop singer, 26, told PEOPLE on Monday at an Alice & Olivia toy drive in West Hollywood. "He'll still have a great Christmas, and he's really into Thomas the Train, but we have enough Thomas, so we do not need that this year!"

PHOTOS: Parents Pete and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz prove they're pros

As Bronx gets older and more aware, his parents are beginning to develop family routines around the holidays. "For my husband and I, it's nice to start those traditions now," Ashlee says. "What we're doing with the tree, what we did over Thanksgiving ... we actually had an amazing Thanksgiving with Peter's family."

Looking to the future, those traditions will also include sister Jessica Simpson's future husband, Eric Johnson. Their relationship, says Ashlee, is as festive as anything this season.

"She is genuinely very, very happy, and you go to their house and it's warm and cozy, and it's a good feeling," she says. "And he's just a good guy."

And if Eric and Jessica happen to add to the family in the next few years, so much the better. "Of course it would be wonderful if it happened," says Ashlee. "We were actually over there yesterday, and Jessica is a wonderful godmother, and aunt, so I know she would be a wonderful mother."
