Adrien Brody has reportedly won a lawsuit he filed against the makers of an Italian horror film.

The actor sued the producers of the movie Giallo in order to stop its release.

In the suit, Brody claimed that he was misled by the filmmakers, who allegedly lied to him to prevent him from walking off the set after he learned that the project was underfunded.

Brody also suggested that he was not paid for his role in the picture, reports Reuters.

A federal judge ruled that director Dario Argento and the producers cannot distribute the picture in the US without paying Brody.

The judge further ruled that they cannot use Brody's likeness to promote the movie.
