Harry Potter star Emma Watson may have fans clamoring to replicate hersophisticated style, but unlike some of Hollywood’s hot young things, she’s notoriously refused to lend her name to just any fashion or beauty project. And, she says, if there’s one form of celebrity licensing that truly confounds her, it’s celebrity scents. “I can’t understand this fragrance thing,” she tells the British Press Association. “Why would you want to smell like somebody else? Don’t you want to smell like yourself?” While Eau de Emma won’t be hitting beauty counters anytime soon, fashion collaborations are something she has been more open to, recently contributing and modeling for fair-trade clothing collection Free People and posing alongside younger brother Alex in aseries of ads for luxury collection Burberry. “I love it, and I will continue to work in the fashion industry,” she says. “I am interested in ethical fashion, I want to make a difference and it’s nice to contribute.” –Justine Harman
