Rapper WAKA FLOCKA FLAME has been threatened with legal action by a Florida promoter after failing to perform at a charity event last week (18Nov10).
The hip-hop star was expected to hit the stage at the Hip Hop For Hunger event in Melbourne on Thursday (18Nov10), but refused to play the gig after organiser Christopher Duncan rejected Flame's demands for a $10,000 (£6,700) payment in cash at the venue.
Duncan insists their contract mentioned nothing about the extra money and he is now planning to file suit against the rapper in a bid to get his deposit back, reports AllHipHop.com.
It's the latest concert scandal surrounding the rising MC - his bookingagents were recently hit with a $1 million (£666,700) lawsuit over allegations Flame skipped a show in Birmingham, Alabama in June (10)
