The E! host tells Us Magazine that she is now taking the difficult steps toward achieving her dream of motherhood. The star, who is now undergoing in vitro fertilization treatments, says that she is sometimes getting as many as 63 IVF shots each months in the hopes of getting pregnant.
"Sometimes I have to get [injections] 21 days in a row, three times a day," she says. "It's a lot. But you've got to do it."
Giuliana says that she has faith that the treatments, which aided in her first pregnancy, will help her conceive again. "The good news is that IVF did work as we did get pregnant," she says.
While the couple are still hoping to have a biological child of their own, they aren't ruling out other possibilities.
"It's just amazing how many people are incredibly generous and so giving. We've gotten probably 40 women who have offered to be surrogates," says Giuliana. "And the other day I got an email saying, 'My niece is having a baby, and she's giving it up for adoption and we'd like to give it up to you.' "
