American singer Ke$ha has confirmed that there are no bad feelings between herself and fellow popstar Rihanna.
Earlier this year Rihanna stirred controversy after claiming that she did not want her new album to be "the generic pop record that Ke$ha or Lady GaGa or Katy Perry could do."
"I'm so used to the media flipping my words around that I'm sure she meant absolutely no offence to me or Katy or GaGa," Ke$ha explained to Complex magazine. "Rihanna and me are totally cool - we were just on tour together and I know that she and Katy are good friends."
Ke$ha also confirmed that she did not mind being compared to the likes of Lady GaGa and Katy Perry as she is "the new bitch on the block", adding that the comparisons at least mean that people know her songs.
Ke$ha recently released a follow-up EP to debut album Animal, called Cannibal, which was released in the US on November 22.
