Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim's current Tim and Eric Awesome Tour, Great Job!(coming to a theater near you) features special appearances by their usual troupe of Bizarro-world celebs, like over-rouged crooner James Quall and mostly toothed puppeteer David Liebe Hart. However, as any regular viewer knows, the duo'sAwesome Show on Adult Swim has, over its five seasons, also featured more traditional celebrity cameos, from Will Ferrell to Marilyn Manson to Zach Galifianakis. We contacted the titular duo on the road and asked them to tell the stories behind their most high-profile bookings. In the tradition of the surreal, mock-earnest Awesome Show, it was often unclear what they were being earnestly enthusiastic about and when it was a put-on, so we marked each entry with a likely veracity score: 10 for the most true sounding, 1 for the most bullshit-esque.
