At least according to Julianne's brother, Derek Hough – and he would know. "I haven't heard anything [about an engagement] and I am sure I would have it if were true," he tells PEOPLE.
But if Seacrest, 35, were to pop the question to Julianne, 22, eventually, would her big brother approve? "I think she might be a little young," says the Dancing with the Stars champ. "But we are all very supportive, and as long as she is happy that is what matters."
Still, Derek adds that Seacrest has many things in common with the Hough siblings and fits right in with the family.
"We are all very similar," he tells PEOPLE. "It's his sense of humor, work ethic and how he always puts family first."
Derek, who has been busy with TV appearances following his DWTS win and also decorating his new Hollywood home, is looking forward to relaxing during the holidays with family in Utah.
"Everyone in my family is really happy," he says. "It's a good time in the Hough household."
