Coldplay have released a download-only Christmas single.
The track - called 'Christmas Lights' - received its official radio premiere yesterday evening, when it was simultaneously released to online music retailers.
The band have also unveiled a music video for the song, which shows them performing on a small, outdoor stage by the River Thames.
On the track, Chris Martin sings: "Oh Christmas lights/ Light up the street/ Light up the fire that was in me/ May all your troubles soon be gone/ Those Christmas lights/ Keep shining on."
The group, who are currently working on their fifth studio album, will play two Christmas charity concerts in Liverpool and Newcastle on December 19 and 20.
