Nicki Minaj unveiled a new alter ego during her appearance on Lopez Tonight.

The Pink Friday star, who was sporting peroxide, green and blue hair to match her outfit, told Lopez on Monday night that she had invented a special alter-ego especially for him.

"Your producers did speak to me and I invented a new character for [you]," she said. "Her name is Rosa, but you have to roll it long like Rrrrrrosa!"

The rapper was also asked if she had been able to take in the success of her debut record, which entered the charts at number two behind Kanye West.

"I've been trying to just absorb it but it's hard to pause," she replied. "It's difficult because my life is just on the go, so you rarely have a moment just to sit back and reflect and say, 'Hmm, my dreams are kind of coming true right now!'"

Minaj, who has said that the record appeals to everyone, also performed 'Moment 4 Life' during her appearance, which marked her first late night interview.
